Because they swallow excess air along with their food and water or swallow everything without much chewing, this can lead to several problems like: indigestion, vomiting or bloat which can be life-threatening. The Slow Down bowl has especially been designed to force your dog to eat or drink at a slower pace. This way they will intake less excess air, produce more saliva and have to chew more, leading to improved digestion and reducing the risk of a bloat. The Slow Down feeding or drinking bowl is dishwasher safe,not suitable for microwave. Suitable for wet or dry food. Made of tough, durable plastic, these hardy bowls also come with a rubber rim on the base to prevent the bowl sliding at feed time.
